Friday’s Devotional

Jeremiah 17:7 kjv
Blessed is the man that trusteth in the LORD, and whose hope the LORD is.

Inspiration
We are living in a world today that seems to have gone completely crazy at times. We see heartache, sickness, oppression all around us to just name a few. As we stand in the middle of it all it is not hard to get discouraged and to loss hope. As Jehovah’s children we have to remember that our hope is not in this world or anything in this world; but our hope is in the Lord, the maker and keeper of all things. There is not anything He doesn’t know or have an answer for. He holds each one of us in His hand and He knows every care and heartache. Our Lord is just waiting patiently for us to reach out to Him and ask Him to bring the peace we desire to our lives. How very blessed we are to have a Savior who loves us and longs to comfort us so much! Put Your hope in Him my friends; for in Him only can we find the peace and hope this world needs so badly.

Prayer
Heavenly Father, we come to You looking for a filling of Your Holy Spirit as we see the turmoil around us. Fill our hearts with hope in You for we know Father You are the keeper of all things. In You we can find hope, for we know You hold the whole world in Your hands. Let our hope and trust be in You and Your promises to Your children. Help us set our Spiritual eyes upon You and our home in heaven with You as You lead us away from all the hopelessness found in this world to a place filled with a renewed hope that is only found You. In Jesus Precious Name, Amen
